The Labour Diversity Fund has been included in Ed Balls’ 10-point contract with the Labour Party. As part of the contract, Mr Balls pledges that
I will set up the party’s first-ever Diversity Fund to help all those who are under-represented get selected, including BAME groups, disabled people and those from ordinary backgrounds.
Ballot papers for the Labour leadership election are issued on 1st September.
